Mr. SS. Gangwal is a distinguished former Senior Scientific Officer from the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. With an illustrious career spanning over 35 years, he has made significant contributions in the field of Quality Assurance and maintenance of defence equipment across all three armed forces of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force.

During his tenure, Mr. Gangwal played a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and operational excellence of critical defence systems. His expertise in Total Quality Management (TQM), backed by his MBA qualification in TQM, enabled him to implement robust quality standards and processes in highly sensitive and demanding environments.

Post his retirement, Mr. Gangwal has dedicated himself to social service, channeling his vast experience, discipline, and commitment towards the betterment of society.

He is actively involved in initiatives focused on education, healthcare, and support for underprivileged communities, striving to create meaningful and lasting impact.

His journey reflects a seamless transition from serving the nation in defence to serving society with compassion and purpose.

Growing up in a small village named Gujerheri, District Jansath, UP, I witnessed firsthand the harsh realities of poverty in my surroundings at my village. I saw neighbour families struggling to make ends meet, children yearning for education, and individuals facing daily hardships. These experiences were etched into my heart, shaping my perspective and fueling my determination to create a better future for those in need.

Amid these challenging circumstances, my father stood as a beacon of hope and inspiration. His wisdom, compassion, and belief in humanity deeply influenced me. He instilled in me the values of perseverance and selflessness and the importance of helping others, a legacy I carry with pride to this initiative.

Determined to rise above my circumstances, I worked tirelessly to achieve my dreams. With an unyielding resolve, I studied hard and successfully made it to a government job and earned a prestigious place in the defence forces, serving the nation with honour.

This achievement was not just a personal milestone but a stepping stone toward fulfilling a greater purpose—to extend your support to the underprivileged and empower those in need.

Today, as I proudly serve the country, I would also want to stand as a pillar of hope for the poor and vulnerable. My journey has come full circle, from witnessing poverty to becoming a source of light for others. Whether it’s providing for basic needs, supporting education, or offering a helping hand in times of distress, I have made it my mission to uplift those who face the struggles I once knew so well.

My story is a testament to the power of resilience, compassion, and the drive to make a difference. It’s a story of transformation not only of my own life but of countless others who shall benefit from my dedication to humanity.
